Google in their wisdom have decided to change the look of Google calendar.
I don’t like it one little bit. After a bit of searching I found how to switch it back to what Google refers to as the “Classic” look.
Here are the steps:
1. Log into your Google calendar
2. Look at the top right-hand corner of the page for a little gear-wheel
3. Click on the wheel and select Use the classic look.
I’ve had a few calls for people complaining that they have made changes to their web pages but when they visit them they see the old version of the pages.
Yes, I have asked them to clear cache, use private browsing and even install new browsers.
I suspect that Optus and some other ISPs that use Optus infrastructure are caching pages to save money in offshore bandwidth charges, trouble is they never seem to update their cache !
Very frustrating for web developers who have customers on Optus.
